    Al Nakheel Agriculture and Trading Co. W.L.L.; was set up on the 5th April 1997 to deal with Landscaping, Irrigation and Plants needs in Qatar. It undertakes the supply and installation of Landscaping projects along with the design and installation of irrigation system. The company also has a nursery of around 100,000 m2, which deals with the propagation and supply of plants to Qatar and abroad.

    MEEZA provides Software as a Service (SaaS) for Exchange as well as Sharepoint for Al Emadi. With hosted Microsoft Exchange, it provides access to all the features and functionality of business class email including shared calendar and contact information, support for mobile devices, online and offline capability for remote staff. With Sharepoint the client enjoys a highly secure hosted environment that is protected from viruses and backed up regularly.

    Fuego Digital Media is a start-up Qatar software company formed in March 2008. Fuego is building the ‘Fuego OnDemand’ Service to provide simple web-based business applications in Arabic, English and French to the 5.3 million small and medium-size enterprises (SME) across the 22 countries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. MEEZA hosts the Fuego OnDemand Service from M-VAULT 1, its Tier 3 Data Centre, which offers clients 99.98% availability, the highest levels of availability provided from any commercial data centre in Qatar. Fuego relies on MEEZA to provide its SME customers with reliable and secure services today and in the future as they scale their business across the region.

    The Company was established in 1974 as a joint multinational venture to utilize the Associated and non-Associated Ethane Gases from Petroleum Production in line with the Industrialization Plan of the State of Qatar.

    The Qatar Ministry of Environment hosted the United Nations Ozone Protection Conference in Qatar in November, 2008. There were 193 countries represented at this event and over 1000 individual attendees. In addition to the challenge of planning an event of this size, the Ministry of Environment needed to ensure that document workflow procedures met the strict environmental protection guidelines for the conference.

    MEEZA developed a paperless document management solution, event portal, event website and provided IT Systems, network access and IT support for all attendees. This enabled the Ministry of Environment to host a world-class, paperless event whilst document workflow efficiencies and positions Qatar at the forefront of ozone protection

    Qatar National Convention Centre

    A member of the Qatar Foundation, QNCC features a conference hall of 4,000-seats theatre style, a 2,300-seat lyric style three-tier auditorium and a total of 52 flexible meetings rooms to accommodate a wide range of events. It also houses 40,000 square metres of exhibition space over nine halls, and is adaptable to seat 10,000 for a conference or banquet. The Centre’s stunning architecture and cutting edge facilities are ideal for hosting local, regional and international conventions and exhibitions, gala events, theatrical productions and banquet functions.

    QNCC was conceived with a focus on sustainability. The Centre was successfully built according to gold certification standards on Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED), endorsed by the U.S. Green Building Council. The building is designed to operate efficiently with innovations such as water conservation and energy-efficient fixtures.

    QNCC has already garnered the following awards: “Middle East’s Leading Exhibition & Convention Centre” by World Travel Awards 2012; “Best Congress and Convention Centre, Middle East” by Business Destinations Travel Awards 2012; and “Best Convention Centre in Middle East” by MICE Report Awards 2012

The Centre seeks to become a focal point for world-class expertise in surgical technologies; an integrated approach with local stakeholders and international experts aiming to transform Qatar into a hub for robotic surgery.

    Sidra Medical and Research Center is a groundbreaking hospital, research and education institution, based in Doha, Qatar, that will focus on the health and wellbeing of women and children regionally and globally. Sidra will be a fully digital facility, incorporating the most advanced information technology applications in clinical, research and business functions. Sidra will initially have 400 beds with infrastructure to enable expansion to 550 beds in a subsequent phase.

    Sidra represents the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser who serves as its Chairperson. Sidra will be funded by a US$7.9 billion endowment from Qatar Foundation, the largest endowment of its kind in the world.

    In order to establish their mobile and fixed line telecommunications services, Vodafone Qatar requires the highest levels of availability, scalability and physical security. MEEZA is providing a full end-to-end turn key to infrastructure solution to support Vodafone Qatar’s, www.vodafone.com.qa core telecommunications and network operations. MEEZA will support Vodafone from M-Vault 1, our Tier 3 Data Centre which is the only commercial Data Centre in Qatar that can deliver 99.98% availability. The solution, with a contract value of QR125 million, includes delivery of a set of Data Centre Services that will enable Vodafone Qatar to scale their business quickly and benefit from MEEZA service sevel agreements offering the highest levels of availability and security.
