Al Nakheel

Al Nakheel Agriculture and Trading Co. W.L.L.; was set up on the 5th April 1997 to deal with Landscaping, Irrigation and Plants needs in Qatar. It undertakes the supply and installation of Landscaping projects along with the design and installation of irrigation system. The company also has a nursery of around 100,000 m2, which deals with the propagation and supply of plants to Qatar and abroad.

MEEZA provides Software as a Service (SaaS) for Exchange as well as Sharepoint for Al Emadi. With hosted Microsoft Exchange, it provides access to all the features and functionality of business class email including shared calendar and contact information, support for mobile devices, online and offline capability for remote staff. With Sharepoint the client enjoys a highly secure hosted environment that is protected from viruses and backed up regularly.

deltaDOT QSTP-LLC

deltaDOT QSTP-LLC is a Qatar based Analytics Service Laboratory that was established in June of 2009 as a joint venture between Qatar Science and Technology Park and deltaDOT Ltd. The company’s main mission is to provide world-class analytic consulting, training, services and tools.

MEEZA offers hosted Microsoft Exchange on a per user subscription basis to give deltaDOT easy and cost-effective access to the software they need to rapidly scale their business. The solutions are hosted in the MEEZA M-Vault Data Centre, offering the highest levels of security, availability and scalability. MEEZA’s Software as a Service (SaaS) are fully automated – clients have access to a self service portal that enables them to create user accounts, add new services and manage preferences easily.

Fuego Digital Media

Fuego Digital Media is a start-up Qatar software company formed in March 2008. Fuego is building the ‘Fuego OnDemand’ Service to provide simple web-based business applications in Arabic, English and French to the 5.3 million small and medium-size enterprises (SME) across the 22 countries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. MEEZA hosts the Fuego OnDemand Service from M-VAULT 1, its Tier 3 Data Centre, which offers clients 99.98% availability, the highest levels of availability provided from any commercial data centre in Qatar. Fuego relies on MEEZA to provide its SME customers with reliable and secure services today and in the future as they scale their business across the region.

Gulf Bridge International

MEEZA provides an end-to-end managed hosting service for GBI, allowing them to focus their attention on developing core business applications, rather than the challenge of maintaining the availability and scalability of hardware platforms. As a global organisation GBI made the decision to deliver all applications across the web, which includes Exchange, SharePoint, Office Communications Server. This approach allows them to communicate effectively across any time zone, whilst maintaining the integrity of critical data. MEEZA powers this service delivery by providing an internet-facing, secure monitored & managed hardware and storage platform, taking accountability for the availability of all back-end systems.

The International Bank of Qatar (ibq) is a well established and rapidly growing commercial institution, offering a full range of retail, private, and corporate banking solutions. The bank’s commitment to customer relationships and best practice is reflected in the numerous awards won by the bank, including “Best Customer Service in the Middle East” award for four consecutive years in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 from Banker Middle East Magazine.

MEEZA provides ITIL mentoring and consultancy to ibq to enhance their quality of IT service management within the organisation and to gain further knowledge and understanding of Service Management as a practice and the Service lifecycle.

Qatar Islamic Insurance Company, one of the fastest growing insurance companies in Qatar and a national company with international reach, started transacting business in 1995. MEEZA is providing local cloud services to Islamic Insurance with local people and localized client data remaining in Qatar.

Masraf Al Rayan

MEEZA provides Masraf Al Rayan, a pioneer in banking across the region, with highly-available, scalable and secure Data Centre Services. The high levels of availability and security delivered by MEEZA will enable the bank to deliver reliable and efficient banking services to all their customers. In the future, Masraf Al Rayan plans to utilise MEEZA’s portfolio of Managed IT Services to support its growing IT requirements as it expands its business within Qatar and across the region.

Mawashi is the largest company in the field of meat and livestock industry in Qatar. Msheireb Properties

Msheireb Properties is a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and was set up in April 2007.

QMDI

QMDI is an event management company with the aim of developing Qatar into a leading world-class destination for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector. MEEZA provides QMDI with a Managed IT Services solution that includes Microsoft server solutions, software and web hosting. MEEZA is helping QMDI to focus on their core event management business and scale rapidly.

Qatar Ministry of Environment

The Qatar Ministry of Environment hosted the United Nations Ozone Protection Conference in Qatar in November, 2008. There were 193 countries represented at this event and over 1000 individual attendees. In addition to the challenge of planning an event of this size, the Ministry of Environment needed to ensure that document workflow procedures met the strict environmental protection guidelines for the conference.

MEEZA developed a paperless document management solution, event portal, event website and provided IT Systems, network access and IT support for all attendees. This enabled the Ministry of Environment to host a world-class, paperless event whilst document workflow efficiencies and positions Qatar at the forefront of ozone protection

Qatar National Convention Centre

Qatar Robotic Surgery Centre

The Qatar Robotic Surgery Centre is a training, and technology-development facility for state-of-the-art surgical technologies. A QSTP initiative in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation, the centre comprises Da-Vinci-brand medical robots, virtual reality simulators and the ability to perform "tele-mentoring" sessions. Qatar Robotic Surgery Centre (QRSC) has become one of the busiest surgical training centres in the region and thus participating in raising the quality of surgical care in Qatar. To date over 150 Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) clinicians and most surgical residents have been trained in basic laparoscopy, and it is estimated that additional 100 HMC clinicians will be given this and more advanced surgical training in laparoscopy & robotic in the next ten months. Several technology development projects are currently underway at QRSC in collaboration with leading international institutions such as Imperial College London, Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, “Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève” in Switzerland, and Cleveland Clinic in the USA. QRSC R&D projects span from next generation of virtual reality simulators for surgical training and objective skills assessment, to artificial intelligence methods for medical image analysis, ultimately leading to the future smart medical robotics.

MEEZA offers Managed and Monitoring Data Centre service to QRSC, which means MEEZA provides a service based approach to remotely monitor and manage their infrastructure. With this QRSC will have a managed service that would streamline their operations and therefore they will be able to remain focused on managing the core business applications.

Sidra

Sidra Medical and Research Centre, an ultra-modern, all-digital academic medical centre in Doha, Qatar, is being designed and planned to the best international standards in health sciences. Scheduled to open in 2012, it will offer specialty care for women and children, in addition to select medical and surgical services. Optimum use will be made of sophisticated technology to ensure a patient-focused culture and that the ratio of staff to patients allows for the highest quality care.

MEEZA provides Sidra Medical and Research Centre with Managed IT Services including network hardware, server infrastructure, software services, data centre services and professional services. MEEZA will also design and build SIDRA’s IT network infrastructure and provide all of the necessary supporting services to help SIDRA develop into one of the leading academic medical centres in the world.

Silatech

Silatech is an innovative social enterprise, created to meet the urgent need to generate new jobs and opportunities for young people starting first in the Arab world, where the challenge is at its most severe globally.

As a not-for-profit social enterprise, Silatech has created novel connections with the private sector, creating a commercial incentive for global businesses to address the challenge of youth employment while also being able to explore new markets.

MEEZA’s managed colocation and professional IT services enable Silatech to focus on its vision of promoting large-scale job creation and entrepreneurship for young people in the Arab world.

Vodafone

In order to establish their mobile and fixed line telecommunications services, Vodafone Qatar requires the highest levels of availability, scalability and physical security. MEEZA is providing a full end-to-end turn key to infrastructure solution to support Vodafone Qatar’s, www.vodafone.com.qa core telecommunications and network operations. MEEZA will support Vodafone from M-Vault 1, our Tier 3 Data Centre which is the only commercial Data Centre in Qatar that can deliver 99.98% availability. The solution, with a contract value of QR125 million, includes delivery of a set of Data Centre Services that will enable Vodafone Qatar to scale their business quickly and benefit from MEEZA service sevel agreements offering the highest levels of availability and security.
